A Little Bit About Me

My name is Daniel a Software Developer who's been actively coding for the past three years.

Familiar with: Python, Django, JavaScript, React, NextJS HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, Agile Methodologies, DevOps Practices, CI/CD Pipelines and many more.

Much of my programming expertise has come from the practice-driven software development programme at SoftUni, complemented by freelance software development work.

Professionally, I have consulted hospitality businesses on software solutions and technical challenges. I developed the Golden Bull Restaurant Loyalty App, which has increased customer engagement, retention, and created new returning customers. The application allows customers to collect loyalty stamps, redeem rewards, and receive personalized promotions, while providing restaurant owners with powerful insights through data visualization.

Currently I work for Gnar Software as a full-stack web developer, creating applications in NodeJS, React, NextJS, as well as utilising docker and our very own microservice framework Gnar Engine.

Golden Bull Restaurant Loyalty App is a customer rewards platform that allows users to collect stamps on visits and redeem rewards. Restaurant owners can customize promotions, birthday gifts, and sign-up bonuses, while tracking customer engagement and employee performance through detailed analytics.

The application is currently deployed on Azure with a PostgreSQL database and Redis for task queuing.

Reviewee is a web application designed for business owners to showcase their businesses online in order to get user reviews, reservations and also manage their places bookings.

    Functionality
  • User registration and account management
  • Business owners can Create | Edit | Delete restaurants or hotels and view reservations made for them
  • Non-registered users can browse places, view reviews, create and manage reservations
  • Registered users have all non-registered users functionality, plus ability to add places to their favourites and Write | Edit | Delete reviews.

The application is currently deployed on AWS EC2 instance with Nginx as a proxy server and Gunicorn as a local server
